I made homemade potato chips tonight and boy were they good !  So good infact that Ryan asked me to make more  !

Here’s what I did:

Heat oven to 450*

slice 4 potatoes – I used our food processor , but I would have made them without one. Just slice potatoes thin.

Put sliced potatoes  in between paper towels and soak up the water , so the potatoes are dry.

Oil up 2- baking sheets with EVOO just enough to coat the pan.

Place potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheets.

Spice however you want them. I used sea salt , and pepper .

Now put them on the top rack of your oven . Bake for 10 minutes . We checked ours at 10 minutes and then put them back in for about 3 more minutes.  You will have some dark ones – even if you think they are all sliced the same size some will be thinner and will darken up.

Let cool for 10 minutes then enjoy 🙂
